Vizio ups the ante by cutting prices on soundbars

VIZIO M-Series All-in-One 2.1 Home Theater Sound Bar

Vizio, A well-known manufacturer of budget AV equipment has introduced a new line of entry-level soundbars M-Series, which will be released in 2022-2023. The included M-Series Elevate (a cheaper version of the Elevate soundbar) sells for $799 in the US, although it has a 5.1.2 configuration, swivel height speakers, supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, comes with wireless surround speakers and a subwoofer, reproducing bass down to 45 Hz.

An even more sensational model in the series is the M-Series All-In-One, a 2.1 soundbar with a suggested price of $199. Immersive Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio playback is provided through DTS:X Virtual processing. There are only 4 speakers: two broadband front speakers and a pair of woofers.

Switching capabilities and voice control – like the model M-Series Elevate. Both models should go on sale in the US before the end of July. According to foreign experts, this should worry Sonos – its comparable models (for example, Sonos Arc) are more expensive.
