This new floorstanding model was developed in collaboration with Naim and joins the existing Diva Utopia and Diva Mezza Utopia. The larger four-way system is inspired by the Grande Utopia model. The French-produced Diva Alta Utopia utilizes a four-way bass reflex configuration with four 20.5 cm W-cone woofers, a 16.5 cm W-cone bass-midrange driver, a 13 cm M-profile W-cone midrange driver, and a new 27 mm Prism M-profile inverted dome tweeter. The loudspeaker incorporates technologies derived from Focal's proven Utopia loudspeaker series, including Focus Time alignment, W-cone diaphragms, TMD suspension, and IAL tweeter loading.

One of the most important innovations in the new model is the introduction of Focal's Prism tweeter technology. According to the company, the design combines a multi-material substrate with a microstructured diaphragm construction. The loudspeaker is also the first in the Diva Utopia series to use the M-profile W midrange driver.

Amplification and wireless audio platform

Each loudspeaker contains four special Class AB amplifiers developed by the British company Naim, each delivering a total power output of 600 Watts. Signal processing is handled by integrated DAC and DSP stages, while communication between the loudspeakers utilizes Ultra Wideband (UWB) wireless technology. For higher resolution, users can connect the included Hi-Res Link cable, which allows audio up to 192 kHz/24-bit to be transmitted between the loudspeakers.

Streaming and connectivity

The streaming functionality is based on Naim's Pulse Platform and supports audio formats up to 384 kHz/32-bit. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Ethernet, Bluetooth 5.3 with aptX Adaptive, AirPlay, Google Cast, and UPnP. Supported streaming services include Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, and QQ Music, while physical connections consist of HDMI eARC, optical, analog RCA, and USB inputs. The system also supports multi-room playback via the Focal & Naim ecosystem.
