German turntable manufacturer Acoustic Signature is celebrating three decades of vinyl expertise with the launch of two special anniversary models: the Merlin Neo and the flagship Thirty Neo. Designed to showcase the company's engineering heritage while pushing its technology forward, the new turntables cater to both serious vinyl enthusiasts and uncompromising high-end audiophiles.
Since its founding in 1996, Acoustic Signature has built a reputation for precision engineering, meticulous manufacturing, and innovative resonance-control technologies. Every turntable is developed with the goal of extracting the maximum amount of musical information from vinyl records while minimizing unwanted vibrations and mechanical noise.
Thirty years later, the company remains committed to designing and manufacturing key components in-house at its facility in Germany, where advanced CNC machining and hand-finishing continue to play a major role in production.

Merlin Neo Brings Premium Performance to a Wider Audience
The new Merlin Neo represents Acoustic Signature's more accessible anniversary offering. Combining the company's signature minimalist styling with a newly refined drive system and advanced digital motor control, the turntable aims to deliver high-end performance at a more approachable price point.
The package includes the Acoustic Signature TA-500 Neo tonearm and an AudioQuest Golden Gate cable, creating a complete solution for vinyl lovers seeking a serious upgrade.
According to the company, the Merlin Neo benefits from numerous refinements to its mechanical design, helping to improve rotational accuracy, reduce unwanted resonance, and enhance overall musical performance. The result is a turntable designed to offer exceptional detail, timing, and tonal balance without sacrificing ease of use.
The Acoustic Signature Merlin Neo carries a recommended retail price of €3,998.

Thirty Neo Becomes the New Reference
At the opposite end of the range sits the Thirty Neo, a statement product created to demonstrate the full extent of Acoustic Signature's engineering capabilities.
Designed as the technological centerpiece of the anniversary lineup, the Thirty Neo features a completely redesigned chassis architecture and an advanced three-motor belt-drive system engineered to deliver maximum rotational stability.
The massive 14-kilogram aluminum platter incorporates integrated damping elements, while the company's sophisticated CLD chassis construction helps suppress unwanted vibrations throughout the structure. Acoustic Signature has also implemented its latest DTD bearing technology alongside AVC Level 3 vibration control, further reducing mechanical interference.

A key highlight of the design is its flexibility. The Thirty Neo can accommodate up to three tonearms simultaneously, making it an attractive option for enthusiasts who enjoy experimenting with multiple cartridges and playback configurations.
An external DMC-20 motor controller is included as part of the package, ensuring precise speed regulation and enhanced drive-system performance.
With a recommended retail price of €24,999, the Thirty Neo firmly positions itself among the most ambitious high-end turntables currently available.
New DMC-50 Motor Controller Enhances Precision
Alongside the anniversary turntables, Acoustic Signature also introduced the new DMC-50 motor controller.
Developed specifically for the company's NEO-series turntables, the DMC-50 continuously monitors and corrects motor phase variations in real time using the latest AVC Level 3 technology. The unit employs a significantly faster microcontroller than its predecessor and incorporates a substantial 100 VA toroidal transformer housed inside a robust aluminum enclosure.
The goal is simple: deliver even greater speed accuracy, lower vibration levels, and improved long-term stability for demanding vinyl playback systems.
