Many smartphone manufacturers have eliminated the 3.5 millimeter jack plug connection. In that case, connecting high-quality wired headphones is no longer possible. Moondrop is sailing against the current with the new MIAD01. The MIAD01 not only has a 3.5 millimeter jack plug connection but also a 4.4 millimeter balanced jack plug connection. Both ports are located on the top and provide an output of 2 Vrms and 4 Vrms respectively. That can make an audiophile very happy.

But there is even more that can make an audiophile happy. What about two Cirrus Logic MasterHiFi dac chips and a six-layer gold-coated audio circuit, which is also equipped with a separate power supply. Moondrop specifies a dynamic range of 132 dB and an S/N ratio of 117 dB. Moondrop also reports hardware 100-step volume control and DSP functionality via its own Audio Center app.
