New from ThieAudio – new full-size headphones with a planar driver. With a large selection of IEMs, ThieAudio decided to return to their successful planar design from three years ago. Using constructive feedback from the community, ThieAudio has developed a new design that aims to set a new standard for the headphone line.
The Wraith features a new planar magnetic design that is designed to deliver greater audio fidelity thanks to a new German conductor diaphragm, thinner magnetic plates with 1.5x magnetic field gain, and a new airflow design. Added to this is a new membrane with a thin compressed composite that increases the tension on the membrane. Everything about this 97mm unit is designed to deliver demanding acoustic response over a wider frequency range.
You also get a new headband design. The entire headband consists of a stainless steel frame covered with environmentally friendly microfiber. The entire structure is precision CNC cut and assembled by hand. A new internal double-band design ensures more even weight distribution across the head for a more comfortable listening experience, even over long periods of listening. Featuring replaceable microfiber flannel ear tips specifically designed for isolation and comfort, the ThieAudio Wraith is an all-in-one solution for audio excellence. The audio cable is replaceable for even more personalized sound and long life.
