Acer has unveiled the Acer H6546Ki DLP projector, featuring a wide range of features and built-in Wi-Fi for wireless connection to sources. This practical design features an efficient and quiet cooling system, a 240W OSRAM high-pressure lamp, a micromirror matrix with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and a full collection of Acer-branded utilities for the best user experience.
The Acer H6546Ki DLP projector is designed to be the centerpiece of your home entertainment center. Cutting-edge hardware, functional design, and convenient Wi-Fi connectivity combine seamlessly with a premium third-generation Texas Instruments DarkChip DMD matrix with a native FHD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. An optical system with an aperture ratio of F = 2.5~2.67 and a focal length range of f = 21.8~24 mm enables projection of a 100″ diagonal image from a distance of 3.3 meters. A 240W OSRAM high-pressure lamp delivers a peak brightness of 5,200 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 17,000:1. These characteristics ensure comfortable color rendering even during the day, and in the evening, the immersive effect resembles a cinematic experience.
The Acer H6546Ki projector features dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi with wireless display capability at resolutions up to WUXGA 1920 x 1200. This, coupled with two HDMI ports and a USB port (with support for an optional MiraCast adapter), provides complete connectivity. Audio can be output to external speakers or the built-in 3W speaker.
The Acer H6546Ki DLP projector offers a wide range of fine-tuning tools for image geometry and color rendition. BlueLight Shield protects your eyes from harmful blue light, while ColorBoost 3D and DynamicBlack technology ensure deep, dark tones.
Acer LumiSence, another proprietary technology, is available separately for viewing widescreen content, while the Wall-Color Compensation/Black Board Mode utility allows you to achieve the desired color depth without the need for a specially prepared surface. To extend the projector’s overall lifespan, Acer ColorSafe II dynamically reduces certain color spectrum limits based on the wear of the projector’s DLP system. And for fans of intense sports, a Football Mode color profile has been developed with increased contrast and an emphasis on the vibrant green hues of the grass.
The included remote control offers a wide range of manual distortion corrections and fine-tuning options for your image. It features automatic keystone correction with a 40° range, as well as more advanced barrel and keystone correction options with guidance.
