Panasonic introduced the original SC-GNW10 wireless speaker at IFA 2023 , made in the form of a neckband.
It is supposed to be placed on the shoulders of the listener / player, it has four broadband emitters with a diameter of 38 mm , arranged in a circle. An important advantage of the model is that the sound is transmitted to it not via Bluetooth, but via its own protocol at a frequency of 2.4 GHz , for which a special USB dongle is included in the package.
It is compatible with all personal computers as well as PS4/PS5 and Nintendo Switch game consoles . The protocol supports the transmission of up to six channels of audio (5.1) with a delay of less than 20 ms . The speaker also has built-in microphones, powered by algorithms from Intelligo Technology , which effectively separate voice from background noise. There are also several branded surround sound modes, switched using a special application for PC Sound Slayer .
The Panasonic SC-GNW10 wireless wearable speaker will go on sale in December 2023, the retail price of the speaker will be known later.
