{"id":180394,"date":"2024-03-17T06:57:22","date_gmt":"2024-03-17T06:57:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.techweekmag.com\/?p=180394"},"modified":"2024-03-17T14:18:07","modified_gmt":"2024-03-17T14:18:07","slug":"vivid-moya-m1-ultra-premium-floorstanding-speakers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hifiratings.com\/tech\/speakers\/vivid-moya-m1-ultra-premium-floorstanding-speakers\/","title":{"rendered":"Vivid Moya M1: Ultra-premium Floorstanding speakers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Vivid Audio\u00a0has\u00a0announced the release of a new ultra-premium speaker system,\u00a0the Moya M1\u00a0.\u00a0According to the company, the new product will become the next flagship of the line and meets all the development principles that have been present in the company for 20 years.\u00a0The appearance of the new speaker system was created in the hospital where designer Lawrence Dickie was staying during quarantine.<\/p>\n<p>The company called the\u00a0Super Flux magnets in\u00a0the D26\u00a0tweeter the secret to high-quality sound\u00a0.\u00a0They deliver 2.5 Tesla flux, twice that of most 25mm dome tweeters.\u00a0The acoustic absorber has a large opening for free movement of sound waves from the rear wall of the diaphragm.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hifiratings.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/8_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A quick glance at\u00a0the Moya M1\u00a0will immediately highlight the eight\u00a0C225-100H\u00a0woofers with 100mm coils, each delivering 800W.\u00a0It uses a radial rare earth magnet system with a gap of 45 mm.\u00a0Compared to the two\u00a0C225\u00a0Giya G1 Spirit\u00a0models\u00a0,\u00a0the Moya M1\u00a0features four times the driver array, equating to an additional 6dB increase in efficiency.\u00a0Thus, it was possible to expand the lower limit of the frequency range &#8211; below 20 Hz.<\/p>\n<p>The D26DLC\u00a0tweeters\u00a0use a combination of carbon fiber and aluminum to rival the more expensive beryllium in performance.\u00a0The company also noted that their branded tweeters are superior to diamond ones in certain characteristics.\u00a0One of the key advantages of a reinforced aluminum dome over a diamond one is that it is lighter, resulting in a 10 dB increase in efficiency.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hifiratings.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/9_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The sound quality of the C100SCu\u00a0mid-range speaker\u00a0has been enhanced by using high-energy magnetic material and a high-purity copper shield.\u00a0This design not only improves sound, but also effectively reduces distortion.<\/p>\n<p>This is complemented by a 50mm\u00a0D50DLC\u00a0tweeter\/midrange driver and a pair of C175-76 mid\/bass drivers with 175mm carbon fiber reinforced diaphragms.<\/p>\n<p>If previously the company outsourced production, now the full production cycle is entrusted to\u00a0Vivid Audio\u00a0itself .\u00a0All components of the speaker system are manufactured manually by our own specialists.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hifiratings.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/10_techweek.webp\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Specifications:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Sensitivity &#8211;
