{"id":171144,"date":"2023-10-13T08:19:51","date_gmt":"2023-10-13T07:19:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.techweekmag.com\/?p=171144"},"modified":"2023-10-18T05:54:07","modified_gmt":"2023-10-18T04:54:07","slug":"nikkor-600mm-f6-3-vr-s-super-telephoto-lens-unveiled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hifiratings.com\/tech\/photo\/nikkor-600mm-f6-3-vr-s-super-telephoto-lens-unveiled\/","title":{"rendered":"NIKKOR 600mm F6.3 VR S super telephoto lens unveiled"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nikon\u00a0has unveiled\u00a0a new super-telephoto prime lens,\u00a0<strong>the NIKKOR\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Z\u00a0<\/strong><strong>600mm\u00a0<\/strong><strong>f\/6.3 VR S\u00a0<\/strong><strong>,<\/strong>\u00a0which it says is the lightest 600mm prime lens in its class and allows Nikon Z photographers to shoot handheld at\u00a0<strong>extreme<\/strong>\u00a0distances.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Nikon NIKKOR Z 600mm F6.3 VR S\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hifiratings.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/114_techweek.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"920\" height=\"517\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The new lens has an overall length of 287mm and weighs 1390g, making it the lightest 600mm super telephoto lens of any system.\u00a0This is a combination of focal length and aperture ratio that Nikon has never produced before, and the company assures that the compactness and light weight have not affected image quality.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"Nikon NIKKOR Z 600mm F6.3 VR S\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hifiratings.com\/tech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/115_techweek.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"850\" height=\"327\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Nikon says the lens&#8217;
