Topping\u00a0has released a new compact power amplifier designed for desktop audio systems, available in two versions, the\u00a0PA5\u00a0II\u00a0and\u00a0PA5 II Plus\u00a0.<\/p>\n

Amplifiers have the same dimensions and a set of inputs, they differ only in power when operating on a load of\u00a04 ohms\u00a0.\u00a0The\u00a0Topping PA5 II Plus\u00a0puts out\u00a0125 watts\u00a0per channel versus\u00a0100 watts\u00a0for\u00a0the Topping PA5 II\u00a0.\u00a0The power at a resistance load of\u00a08 ohms\u00a0is the same for both models –\u00a065 watts\u00a0.<\/p>\n

To connect analog signal sources on the rear panel there are two inputs – unbalanced on RCA and balanced on TRS connectors.\u00a0Switching between operating modes and switching on trigger control is carried out using a two-position switch on the front panel.<\/p>\n

The input sensitivity is\u00a01.3 V\u00a0unbalanced and\u00a02.6 V\u00a0balanced, the large attenuator knob is located on the right side of the front panel.\u00a0With compact dimensions of\u00a016.6 x 12.9 x 4.1 cm,\u00a0the model weighs\u00a0680 grams\u00a0.\u00a0The amplifier is powered by an external 38 V adapter.
