match the rest of the television parts). Around it are lines of only 3mm on the sides above and 15.7mm on the bottom bezel. The panel has rounded corners and its finish is very comfortable kg . To place it on your wall mounting a device compatible with VESA in 400 x 300 mm .

As for your stand, it is a pair of legs made of plastic that, as we can see, do not have the best finish. They are simple pieces, weighing 100 grams each. The good thing is that they are very short, so they do not make the panel unstable. With them, the Hisense 65A6K measures 896 x 1452 x 300mm and weighs 16.7kg .

<img decoding="async" class="entered lazyloaded aligncenter wp-image-103928 size-large" title="Simple finish of its plastic legs

Tuning and connectivity

As Hisense has been doing in many models already, the one that concerns us today lacks an analogue system . It does have digital, in DVB-S2/T2/C, CI+ ECP and HbbTV 2.0.3 .

This is made possible with two antenna plugs as well as a corresponding slot for the Common Interface . To complete the physical connectivity, the firm adds the RJ 45 input for Ethernet, optical digital audio output, a 3.5 mm jack, L/R audio output, three HDMI 2.0 and 2 USB 2.0 . In the following image you can see everything and its arrangement.

Physical connections housed on the side

We do not end here, as the model also has wireless connections. They are a bluetooth system in version 4.2 and dual band WiFI .

Image quality

For TV, a different panel is mounted than usual, a 65-inch ADS . Its resolution is Ultra High Definition . The backlight is Direct Full Array to achieve greater uniformity in lighting. The brightness is 300 nits and its static contrast is at a ratio of 1200:1 .

As for the color, this has a depth of 8 real bits and allows a falsification of another pair. The matrix is total, 30 bits. Likewise, the television manages to work with Wide Color Gamut to reflect many more colors through a successful optical system.

AI Adaptive Depth is a system of layers that an artificial intelligence is responsible for designing based on each image to make scenes as deep as the landscape they represent.

Pixel Tuning offers dynamic refinement to bring sharpness and richness to all layers, not just those images that are closest and without discerning between bright and dark either.

Hisense 65A6K AI work

The support for HDR offered by this TV goes through Dolby Vision, HLG, HDR 10 and HDR 10+ .

We have a normal refresh rate of up to 60 Hz . The good thing is that Hisense has introduced a system to create smooth but blur-free images with Smooth Motion while seasoning the refresh rate with Motion Rate , yes, in only 120 units.

Audio

Our television does not fail in terms of power, offering the classic 20 W RMS spread over two full-range speakers.

It features DTX Virtual HD audio technology , special Dolby Digital MS12 and NICAM Stereo sound .

As in the case of all Hisense televisions, we are also provided with a basic equalizer .

Software/smartTV review

VIDAA U 6 main interface

It will be rare that in 2023 models you will see a Hisense television that does not mount VIDAA U6 , which is the latest version of the brand’s OS.

You will be delighted to know that, like more reputable brands, this one also has free content in what they call VIDAA Free ; Here you will be able to see everything at no cost at any time.

Another novelty that we see in the latest VIDAAA U updates is VIDAA art . It is a function that will allow you to view beautiful images on TV when you are not using it.

With the search engine you can have quick access to all the content already available on your TV. In addition, you have the Odin browser to enter the Internet and see or download what you have not yet saved (or you are not interested in it or cannot save it, of course). Another way to find specific things is by using VIDAA U voice to search and request your Alexa voice assistant .

In another order of things, you have mirroring to the television to be able to multiply your entertainment options. You can either mirror the entire screen with Screen Sharing or just the content you like using the Content Sharing option ; As you can see, it is something quite intuitive.

Personalize your television and finish shaping each experience with the smartphone app, sports or game modes, MHEG support, parental control, EPG guide, software store, list of preferred channels, channel ordering.

Hisense A6K: Pros and Cons

PROS:

frameless design

metallic panel

hbbtv
