But keep in mind that the 55E7HQ TV has a thickness of about 8 cm. Perpendicular to the case, only the analog video input, closed with a special cover, “looks” at it.

Image quality

Hisense E7HQ TV has a resolution of 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) and uses QLED Quantum Dot technology. In combination with the Hi-View Engine, which uses artificial intelligence to improve the image and HDR support to increase the contrast, it gives a good result. Namely – a clear, sharp screen with bright colors, pure whites and deep blacks. For a TV in the middle price category, closer to the entry level, it exceeds all expectations.

Colors look accurate and natural, whether you’re watching nature movies or dramas. Although, admittedly, the 250 nits HDR brightness isn’t as high as in more expensive models. There is no adaptive brightness to automatically adjust the screen settings according to the lighting conditions in the room. This way you will get the best viewing experience on a cloudy day or in the evening.

When it comes to picture modes, the E7HQ has a lot to choose from. These are HDR Day, HDR Night, HDR Dynamic, HDR Sports or Auto. Selecting HDR Day makes it more visible in the sun, but also makes the colors a bit oversaturated, while HDR Night makes them too dull. Most people will choose HDR Standard because it does the job quite well.

There is also an auto mode which is just as good and uses Alphonso Video AI to improve the image depending on the type of content on the screen. But to do this, it will collect data about what you watch and use it to improve targeted advertising. Not everyone will be so interested.

Smart TV

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-11065" src="https://www.hifiratings.com/tech/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/6_techweek.jpg" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" srcset="https://www.hifiratings.com/tech/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/6_techweek.jpg 700w, https://www.hifiratings.com/tech/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/12_techweek.jpg 300w, https://www.hifiratings.com/tech/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/13_techweek.jpg 768w, https://www.hifiratings.com/tech/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/14_techweek.jpg 1536w, https://www.hifiratings.com/tech/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/15_techweek.jpg 1920w" alt="Hisense E7HQ - You get a colorful, crisp image, although the HDR brightness could be better. And the design of the TV will be a nice addition to your room. It is a pity that the sound is not quite up to par, but this is easily solved by connecting a separate sound bar.

Hisense E7HQ: Specifications:

<tr
