The main part of the headphones is very compact, as some of the electronics are hidden in the legs.\u00a0Also on their outside there are touch buttons for controlling playback.<\/p>\n The model will be available in “midnight black” and “icy white” colors – we had a light version on our test.\u00a0The headset case and body are made of glossy plastic.\u00a0At the same time, the headphones cannot be called how many – it is convenient to insert and remove them, holding them on their legs.<\/p>\n The case is quite compact, it will be convenient to carry it even in your pocket.\u00a0And the cover and the recesses for the charging contacts are equipped with magnets – so that the headphones themselves “fall” into place.\u00a0There is also a button on the case that you can use to reset the connection to connect to a new\u00a0smartphone.<\/p>\n As we said, you can control the headphones using the buttons on the outside of the case.\u00a0By default, they are configured as follows: one press – stop \/ start the track, long press – switch modes (ANC, surround sound, just play).<\/p>\n You can customize gestures and other device functions using the AI \u200b\u200bLife app.\u00a0It is available in the App Store and App Gallery.\u00a0You will also find this program on Google Play – but in the store from Google it has not been updated for a long time and does not support new models of headphones.\u00a0HONOR Earbuds 2 Lite has not yet been added to the app on the day of the article’s release, but as soon as they become available, we will add the corresponding screenshots.<\/p>\n Despite the low cost, the headphones support active noise cancellation.\u00a0The technology is implemented through software processing of sound and a system of two MEMS microphones (manufactured using microelectromechanical technology).\u00a0Note that due to the design, the headset already has excellent passive noise cancellation – and this is one of the main advantages of vacuum models.<\/p>\n If, on the contrary, you need to enhance the surrounding sounds, and not suppress them, then you can use the sound transparency mode.\u00a0It is also activated by long pressing on any of the headphones.\u00a0The function is useful, for example, when using a headset in the office, when you need to hear the questions of colleagues, or while jogging along a busy street – in order to react to the signals of cars in time.<\/p>\n The headphones are equipped with 10mm polymer composite diaphragm drivers.\u00a0Sound assessment is a very subjective matter and depends on the hearing of a particular person.\u00a0In our opinion, the model produces a rather powerful sound despite its diminutive size.<\/p>\n So, we were pleasantly surprised by the rich bass – this is rarely found in compact TWS headphones.\u00a0The mids are well developed, and the highs are a little lacking – but this can be partially corrected in the equalizer on the\u00a0smartphone\u00a0.\u00a0Best of all, HONOR Earbuds 2 Lite sounds best in the genres of popular and electronic music, as well as when playing rock tracks.<\/p>\n Note that the headset connects to HONOR smartphones automatically after opening the case – the screen immediately displays the charge level of each earphone and case.\u00a0If you take out one earphone, the music will stop on its own, and if you then put it on, it will start again.\u00a0This is very convenient, since you do not have to manually pause the player.\u00a0The function also works when two headphones are removed at the same time.<\/p>\n Each earbud is equipped with a 55mAh battery and the case is equipped with a 410mAh battery.\u00a0This is enough to keep the case running for 32 hours!\u00a0This record can be achieved by using the headset with ANC turned off and at medium volume.\u00a0With an active noise control, it will last a little less without recharging.\u00a0But let’s be fair: most likely, you will have enough passive noise cancellation due to the design of the headphones, and ANC will have to be turned on only when the environment is really loud (for example, on an airplane).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Honor promises that the earbuds will work for 10 hours on a single charge – but it should be borne in mind that this time was also measured with ANC turned off and 50% volume.
